The last few weeks have been SO crazy for Camp Clark. We packed up all our belongings, closed on our home last Thursday and said goodbye to 8836 138th Street W. in Savage where we have lived since the children were born. It was a little sentimental for the children, especially since they will miss seeing our neighbors, Sandy, Jon and Ringo, every day. However, our new "temporary" home is quite perfect for the time being. It's a nice townhome on a friendly cul-de-sac in The Wilds in Prior Lake and it has bike and walking paths everywhere, a great park down the street, lots of friends in the neighborhood, and Prior Lake just 1 block away. We are still unpacking but are settling in nicely.
Last week on top of it all, LTD got to share a full week of VBS with the Erickson children and other friends from our church. They had SO much fun and are still singing all the amazing songs. Due to the craziness of the move, we didn't even get to snap one photo this year but the memories live on in their little minds and in the songs they sing every day.
Friday after VBS, the kiddos packed their bags for Camp Omega, a Christian camp in Waterville, MN, located on a quaint lake complete with swimming pool, cozy cabins and lots of fun outdoor activities. The Brigham children joined LTD for the two-night excursion and they all had an absolute blast. On Sunday when we got to pick up our children and share in the outdoor worship service, all the children came running over the hill from their cabins along with their camp counselors and the smiles on their faces was priceless. They loved Camp Omega and their counselors who were incredibly kind and loving. Check out a few photos below.
Afterwards, Lynn and I and the children treated Derek and Dave to a Father's Day lunch at a great restaurant in New Prague, The FishTale. We had the entire back screened porch all to ourselves and the children had fun running around in the grassy & wooded backyard which had a bubbling stream with a bridge to watch fish. It kept the children busy while the adults enjoyed time conversing and relaxing.
This week we are back to unpacking and getting settled in, at least for a while. We plan to keep searching for a permanent home in Prior Lake/Savage area but I have a feeling we are going to use the rest of the summer to seriously kick back and just enjoy life. It's all good!

1st Grade....Here We Come!
It's official.......LTD have graduated from Kindergarten 2011. We are proud to present the ecstatic graduates!!! They were SO happy and we were SO proud yesterday at their big ceremony; Dad and I even treated them to their favorite restaurant for dinner last night. As we toasted to our new 1st graders, I was filled with emotions as I thought back to the day they were born, the infant years and our triplets stroller, the toddler years and our choo choo wagon, the preschool years and bikes with training wheels and now.....1st grade. Some days back then seemed so long but the years have truly gone by way too fast. We are so proud of you, Lindsey, Taylor and Dylan and look forward to many more years of cherished memories. We love you!

Goodbye Kindergarten!
The end of our Kindergarten year is closing in and it comes with bitter-sweet emotions. Our babies are going into first grade next fall and they are growing up way too fast! STOP, REWIND...... I seriously wish we could. Thursday this week is Field Day which is full day of outdoor fun activities for the entire school and their parents. Friday is graduation day which will be emotional for Mama Bear. Their teachers were absolutely phenomenal this year. Mrs. Lujan even helped each child make a scrap book along with so many amazing take-aways including photo books, journals, cookbooks, the list goes on. I have a large bin for each child full of keepsakes/assignments throughout the entire Kindergarten year. Speaking of, below please find a recent "Animal Report" they each did. Lindsey chose a bear; Taylor a turtle and Dylan a shark. They did a fantastic job - check them out:
