Ecclesiastes 4:12 (NLT)

"A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. THREE are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken."

Professional Photo Shoot by Noemi Photography

As we previously mentioned, we had a dear friend who happens to be an incredibly talented photographer take 20 minutes out of her busy day to capture some special moments of our family out at a local apple orchard. Noemi is SUPER funny and she has a unique way of bringing out the best in everybody. Below are just a few of her photos. Check out our Shutterfly link on the right hand side of our blog to see even more. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Noemi, for capturing some fun moments and for making us laugh, OUTLOUD!

3rd Grade Portraits

These kiddos are growing up WAY too fast!

Apples, Flowers & Pumpkins

The day after our photo shoot at the apple orchard, we decided to make a return visit. It was a GORGEOUS, sunny fall day just perfect for smelling the sunflowers, picking apples, shopping for BIG pumpkins and checking out the farm animals. As always, we had a blast and savored the sunshine and fresh air. And of course, we don't go many places lately without the Toots so she was going non-stop as well. When we visited the sheep, one of the mamas may have thought Tootsie was her baby lamb and came running over and they touched noses gently, almost like a sweet kiss. It was absolutely adorable! On the way home, we popped into the Minnesota's Largest Candy Store. Sugar galore :)

MAMA?

Amateur Photo Shoot at the Apple Orchard

A few weeks ago, Dave and I had a dear friend (Noemi Photography) do a professional photo mini session (20 min) of our family out at the Apple Orchard in Jordan. It was a beautiful fall late afternoon and the rain had just subsided after raining all day so God was looking out for us. Needless to say, she did a fantastic job and we are excited to share some of those captured memories with you. First, we need to figure out what we want to use for our Christmas cards so we are holding off in sharing those. In the meantime, Dave being Dave, also brought his camera along to shoot his own photos after the photo session since it is a hobby he enjoys. As always, he did a nice job but Noemi happened to capture just a few more "candid" shots :) Below are Dave's photos.

Uncle Ken inducted into the NDSU Hall of Fame

Dave missed Dylan's last football game of the season, but for a very good reason. It was NDSU Homecoming and Uncle Ken (Dave's brother) was inducted into the NDSU Bison Hall of Fame in recognition of his football accomplishments while he played for the Bison, 1986 - 1991. Ken was the only football player recognized in the ceremony which drew in people from around the country including his family (Kathy & Lisa attended with Dave), friends, teammates and coaches. In his football career as a Free Safety, Ken achieved 3 national championship rings. Uncle Ken and his 4 beautiful daughters got to be in the homecoming parade and walk out on the football field at half-time. Below are his impressive stats and a few photos Dave took. Wish we had more photos!

September 2013 Memories

Mama Bear has dropped the ball in a BIG WAY!!! With school back in session, fall activities stepped up and Camp Clark moving at full speed, I have failed miserably at updating our blog. EPIC FAIL!!!

We were incredibly happy to have Papa and Grandma Kemmet come visit us in September and get a chance to see the girls shine at gymnastics and Dylan play football - they were in absolute high Heaven showing off. We also got a chance to visit my aunt in Rosemount and share quality time together at Camp Clark. Thank you, Dad and Donna!!! We really enjoyed having you here and look forward to seeing you again in Bismarck over Thanksgiving. Fooball ended mid-October but below are a few photos from September worth sharing :)
