This post is SO overdue! Thanks to my incredibly busy work schedule lately and busy weekends, too much time has passed since our trip back home to Bismarck to celebrate Easter with family and friends - but better late than not at all - right?
We all thoroughly enjoyed sharing time with Grandma Good, Papa and Grandma Kemmet, uncles and aunts, lots of cousins and some dear friends. The children had lots of fun dying Easter eggs two different times (with Grandma Good and with Grandma and Papa Kemmet and cousins), going on an Easter Egg hunt at Aunt Helen's with cousins, watching Uncle Ken and a few of his friends get re-baptized in the Missouri River (yikes!) on a COLD day, and just playing around with cousins and grandparents. Dave and I got a chance to connect with some high school friends as well which is always a treat for us. Most of all, we got to celebrate one very special day, Easter Sunday, with Grandma Good. We missed Papa Good terribly but had fun telling stories about him and keeping him in our thoughts and prayers. Saturday night after the kids were in bed, Dave, Grandma and I sat down to watch The Passion of Christ which we have all seen before. VERY gripping - there was not one dry eye amongst us. We are so grateful for our dear Lord and all he sacrificed for us so that we may live eternally in Heaven with Him. We are SO blessed!
