Babes & Bunnies

What happens when 6 kidlets, who have just had their weekly allowance of sugar (in one night), get ahold of musical instruments? Rock concert at decibal levels! We invited the Brigham family over Friday night and had an absolute blast and even pulled out the karoake machine. I think Mommy Lynn had the most fun "shining". I guess we know the karoake machine MUST come with us to the lake this summer. I think we'll leave the musical instruments back home though so we don't get kicked out of the resort.

On Saturday after basketball, we headed out to Lakefront Park (aka Easter Bunny Park) for the annual outdoor Easter Egg Hunt Party. Of course, LTD ran up to the Easter Bunny first thing to snuggle in. LTD enjoyed the afternoon petting animals, jumping in the inflatables, hunting down Easter Eggs in the playground area, riding ponies, climbing aboard the fire truck, and riding their scooters all around the park and surrounding paths. We also dyed Easter Eggs this weekend which will be an entire post all its' own in a day or two.

Easter Bunny festivities aside, it is because of "Easter" that we all have a reason to celebrate every day. It is the single MOST important holiday. Starting today, Palm Sunday through Resurrection Sunday, we will be focusing our thoughts and prayers on the Good News of Easter. What an incredible gift we have received! What an ultimate sacrifice!
