Easter Egg Extravaganza
This past weekend we pulled out the Paas bins for our annual "Easter Egg Extravaganza". This time we thought we would try a few new dying techniques in addition to the typical "dip and dye". So we set up 3 different stations: traditional bin dipping, tie dying and painting/glitter. LTD took turns and got a chance to try each techniqe and really had fun with it. Dad was responsible for overseeing the tie dye operation while mom helped with the other 2 stations, mainly taming down the glitter application. I believe we STILL have glitter remnants 3 days later which tells you how big of a hit it was :) The dye is almost faded from their little hands and the eggs are being gobbled up pretty quickly. Next up is our annual Camp Clark Easter Egg Hunt this Easter Sunday which is always good for a little fun competition, abundant laughter and sweet smiles.
Dad helping T perfect the tie dyeL proud of her painted "purple" creationD waiting ever so patiently for the dip and dye eggsFlashing that infamous smile I think it's ready!
I love those eggs. They are beautiful. I never thought about glitter, what a great idea! I am so impressed at how you organzie these activites with triplets. Truly amazing! We are planning a trip to MN this summer and I would love to see you and your gorgeous kids. I hope you have a very blessed Easter.
Dave and I are the proud parents of three amazing children that have forever changed our lives! We refer to them as the LTD Addition (Lindsey, Taylor, Dylan) and they are a glimpse of heaven on earth. Dave and I decided to create a blog for the purpose of documenting all the amazing moments we are privileged to share together with our triplets. Up until now, we have shared our memories strictly through photographs via Shutterfly but we wanted more: a chance to capture all their adorable sayings, their mini and major milestones, how they made us smile (or NOT) on specific days, and visuals of their cute little faces & quirky personalities with photos & video clips. This is our gift to our children so someday they don't have to read through a tattered and worn out hand-written journal.
We have been so incredibly blessed with 3 miracles from above. We hope you enjoy sharing in our joys, challenges, fears but most of all, gratitude for being hand-selected by God to raise these angels. I once heard a saying, "may you always walk with angels!" Well, we get that opportunity 24/7/365 and couldn't be more thankful.
God Bless!
