Ecclesiastes 4:12 (NLT)

"A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. THREE are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken."

Happy Easter

We hope you and your families enjoyed your Easter celebration yesterday. We sure did! The kiddos started their day with an Easter Egg hunt. The bunny cleverly hid LOTS of candy-filled eggs throughout our home and ALL were found. It was a mad race and L ended up with the most eggs. But they all sat down afterwards and negotiated and traded to each child's liking so it's all good! Now what do we do with all this candy?? We are guessing Haiti children are going to benefit in a BIG way :)

Next, we headed to church for a delicious pancake breakfast and an uplifting, inspiring service. We sat right up in front to make sure LTD paid attention to the message - Jesus Christ has risen - Allelulia!!

Afterwards, we played outdoors and LTD helped our neighbors (Sandy & John) with lawnwork and helped Sandy bake a cake for Easter dinner. They love to help out and Sandy has really taken them under her wing and is SO good with them. Later, Sandy and John joined us for a tasty Easter dinner with all the fixins and the delicious cake the kiddos helped her bake and frost. It was all fun and games until Lindsey's hair caught on fire from getting too close to blowing out the candles on the cake! Luckily, mom got the flames out immediately and only a gerbil amout of hair was burned :) WHEW!

We ended the night with lots of dancing and performing. LTD just had to show off for Sandy and John and show them all their gymnastics and dancing moves. It was hysterical! We will make sure to post a video of all the Easter excitement. Here are some photos from our day:

Taylor, can I have one of your eggs?
